ummagumma asked:
I am looking to buy this engine kit:
http://www.zone8cycling.com/Bicycle-Engine-Kit-RAW-50cc-EPA-Certified-p29.html
For my bicycle, the bike is a 2004 (i think) schwinn stingray, will it fit?
Also, if not, do you know of a kit that would fit?
Thank you all.

Call or Email them and ask.
If yours is the newer “chopper” style stingray with 20 inch wheels it is not likely that this engine kit, or any other, will fit it. Most of these kits are made for cruiser style bikes with 26 inch wheels. I doubt if you can fit an engine inside the small triangle that the chopper bike has without serious frame modification. If you have your heart set on putting a noisy, polluting 2 stroke engine on a bike (which you can tell I don’t think is a good idea) you should start with a 26″ cruiser. They are cheap and plentiful.
Contact the vendor and see if they can give you the minimum frame dimensions.
just get a used mountain bike to convert
with a plain, full size triangular frame
that;s what they are made for
though i don;t like them either, the engines

yes you will have 2 bikes
but you won;t want to be riding that thing with a motor all the time, believe me
they are noisy, heavy, smelly
so you really will still need a regular bike to ride

wle.
bikes with engines I do not care for enough to say more than good luck.
