I need to know since I can’t get that answer from associates at my local Wal-Mart where the bike was purchased. Someone had stolen the dice valve covers from my son’s bike.

I recently purchased an older 20″ street/casual riding bicycle at yard sale this past weekend. There are no labels on the bike to tell me what brand of bike this could be. We had suspected it to a Schwinn Stingray. The bike was repainted by the previous owner, so I can not see any serial numbers. It is a single speed bike with a pedal brake system. I noticed that the bars that run across the sides of the frame near the top taper at the tips near the neck. Whereas on a Schwinn they seem to not taper at all. I’m just curious as to what kind of bike this could be. Murray, Huffy, something else? Can you help me?

This is the only picture I have of it at this time.
I’m gonna have to do this tonight when i get home. My work computer will not allow me to add the photo to my photobucket page.

I am looking to buy this engine kit:
http://www.zone8cycling.com/Bicycle-Engine-Kit-RAW-50cc-EPA-Certified-p29.html
For my bicycle, the bike is a 2004 (i think) schwinn stingray, will it fit?
Also, if not, do you know of a kit that would fit?
Thank you all.

We are young, active & experienced travelers looking for advise in Nassau & Freeport.
Our interest are in beaches & activities like:
We loved to swim with the StingRay & hang out on 7 mile beach in Caymen,
mountain biking in Cancun, climbing Dunn River Falls in Jamaica
We’re not into bus rides, shopping, tour groups, being inside!
ANY SUGGESTIONS????

I have an old Schwinn Fairlady Stingray that I would like to fix up. What’s the best way to clean the crome and non-painted parts?
Also, any specific tools I might need to dis-assemble and re-assemble a bike would be helpful, also.
Thanks in advance!!
